Well Hi There!

So apparently Google decided that it detected unusual activity on my account and deactivated my blog. Did it bother to tell me? Oh, no, why would it do that?? Nice to come back from vacation and have a minor heart attack.

Yes, I am back from Disneyland! The vacation was all right, not relaxing, unfortunately, but when can you relax when you have a 13 month old? lol It was good to be in Disneyland, but I barely got to see any of my friends, which is the important part. Oh well, it is what it was. Here are a few pics from my phone.

From Pain to Fun!

What a week. I woke up on Wednesday with my eye hurting. It stung and was in pain, but it was bearable. Wednesday night I saw that I had a little bump on my eye, and Jeff said it was a sty. Thursday, I woke up in AGONY. It felt like someone had stabbed a pencil in my eye, and when my eye moved, it felt like someone was twisting that pencil. So there was no way I could form a coherent post. I could barely get through my day.

Friday, my eye was better, and we went upstate for the weekend to visit my brother and sister-in-law. I was planning on catching up on my A to  Z blogging then, but after packing (since I didn't do that Thursday) and making cookies (had to have a hostess gift!) I had no time! We ended up leaving 15 minutes later than we wanted to anyway!

He woke up early on Saturday morning, so we brought him into bed with us. You can barely see it to the left of his forehead, but he fell asleep on my teddy bear, Taddy. :)

I did not touch the computer all weekend! We were so busy and just exhausted! After getting E. down, it was time for us to go to bed lol!! So tomorrow I pledge to try my best to catch up to the blogging A to Z... in between finishing unpacking and laundry!

P is for Piggy, Miss

Miss Piggy, aka Piggy, has been my favorite Muppet forever. I love how she is brash and bold. I can relate to her Kermit love. She is the star of the show, and a demanding one at that! But she is also hilarious. And really sweet! She also is not afraid to do anything - even hoer own stunts! That is a trait I admire in humans and, apparently, Muppets too!!

E is for Emmett's First Trip to Disneyland!

We were not expecting to take Emmett to Disneyland until he was at least a year old, maybe even 2 years old... but then Jeff won Disneyland tickets and a 2 night hotel stay, so we went last August, when E. was 4.5 months old. It was a wonderful trip! We were able to ride and see everything we wanted, including the new Little Mermaid attraction and the redone Star Wars attraction.

E. was so well behaved! He only had 2 meltdowns due to tiredness. He slept a lot, as babies that age do! We got to see all of our friends too, including a few who made a special trip to see us <3 He won't remember any of it, but Jeff and I will.

We are going back in a month!!!! Jeff will be participating in something called the Gumball Rally, which is an event to see if you can ride all of the rides in Disneyland in one day! The baby and I will be watching. I can't wait to see all of my friends again, and to be in the place I love the most! I also can't wait to see how E reacts, now that he is so much more aware of what is going on around him.

Blogging from A to Z in April

I just signed up for my very first blogging challenge. Yay! It is the Blogging from A to Z Challenge. What is it? From Arlee Bird, who created this challenge:    It all began with my post from Saturday March 27, 2010 when I set forth a challenge to all bloggers for the month of April.   Can you post every day except Sundays during this month?  And to up the bar, can you blog thematically from A to Z?
 
       Most of the time if you subtract Sundays from April, you then have 26 days--one day for each letter of the alphabet.  When April 1st lands on a Sunday you begin on that day which will be the only Sunday you would post during that month's challenge. 


        Using this premise, you would start beginning April First with a topic themed on something with the letterA, then on April second another topic with the letter B as the theme, and so on until you finish on April thirtieth with the theme based on the letter Z.  It doesn't even have to be a word--it can be a proper noun, the letter used as a symbol, or the letter itself.  The theme of the day is the letter scheduled for that day.
Sounds like fun, right? As you might have guessed from the banner above, I will be doing a disney theme!! I will include the disclaimer that every post might not be about Disney but most of them will be. Hopefully you will learn something or at least be entertained by them!

Slacking Again...

I still find it almost impossible to find 15, 30 minutes a day to sit down and write a blog post. I have so much to post about and a giveaway I need to post by Friday. But during the day, I am usually holding a now 4 month! old. When he goes for naps, I do the laundry, dishes, etc. He only sleeps for 20 to 30 mins and a lot of that is while he is laying on me lol!! Plus worrying about him and anticipating him waking up is always on the back of my mind so I just can't concentrate. I should at least write SOMETHING when he is sleeping, though, so I have the start. Never get anything done in one shot! Then at night I am soo exhausted that I can't even think. And since it is my only uninterrupted time, I need to send e-mails and reply on message boards and Facebook, stuff I can't do while holding my wiggle worm!!

So, I am still trying but failing. Next week my parents will be visiting and the week after we will be in Disneyland so my time is even more limited. I need to schedule posts, lol, yeah right. I have an event coming up in Sept, and I don't have any sponsors because I want to have more current content up... it is an endless cycle!!!

Yes I am FINALLY ranked by google. After ALWAYS being a n/a, I have FINALLY been booted up to a 2! How exciting is that? Very encouraging. Now to keep up the momentum.

Freshening up!

Wow, today was a GORGEOUS day!!! J and I ran some errands - I FINALLY updated my phone, and we also got free Italian Ice and Rita's. Mmmm. Then we did some yardwork and cleaning. And we also put out the outdoors chairs, so now we can sit outside on our patio. i love spring!

I am also refreshing up my blog, adding a few things, like my sig here. Found an easier way, thanks to katydidandkid.com and mombloggersclub.com If anyone knows how I can add my button with the html code under it to my blog, please LMK.

The dentist went as well as expected?? But my tooth STILL hurts today. Only one more visit!!
