CLOSED Marzetti Caramel Dip Review and Giveaway!

Caramel is one of my most favorite sweet things to eat. I love it on ice cream and in cookies and candy. But i usually don't use it as a dip. I am not sure why? So I was excited to get to try Marzetti Caramel Dips. It was the perfect addition to the appetizers for Baby E's baptism. (That post to come soon!!)

I tried the Sweet & Salty Caramel Dip. I was expecting it to taste somewhat salty, but it tasted more like toasted caramel. We used apples and unsalted pretzels to dip in it, and both were delicious. My husband had the idea to dunk chocolate bars and chocolate sandwich cookies in it. Um... they tasted heavenly!!  I think I might try making Caramel Cereal Crunch Bars next!

I say:  This cereal was really good! I wasn't sure how an 80 calorie cereal would taste, but it did live up to the Fiber One slogan of "Fiber, yes, Cardboard, no" It is not too sweet, and you can definitely taste the wheat and corn. I was also surprised that the fiber One 80 calories cereal kept me full for quite awhile. It didn't get soggy in my yogurt either!

CLOSED!!!Radical Review Wednesday: Green Giant Boxed Vegetables (plus Giveaway!)

You might recall that J is currently on Weight Watchers, and I was until I got pregnant (I will be back on program once the baby is born!). And as you can probably guess... vegetables are an important part of the program. And also... it is handy when the PointsPlus value is right on the package. That is why I love the Green Giant vegetables. Most only have a PointsPlus value of 1 or 2 points! Packed with flavor and ready in minutes, Green Giant Boxed Vegetables are available in a wide variety of flavors, many featuring mouthwatering sauces and seasonings. They’re a terrific addition to any meal and a delicious way to achieve better health in 2011.

I was sent a  Green Giant prize pack, which included a box of Green Giant frozen boxed broccoli and cheese sauce. I loved how easy it was to prepare - put it on a plate, cut a slit in it, and microwave it.No need to mess with pans and water.

The portion size is for approximately 2.5 servings, which seems like a weird size to me. We divided it up into 2 good sized servings. I was mostly impressed with how much cheese sauce there was!! The broccoli was firm but not too hard. And it tasted really good!

I know... unhealthy next to healthy... but it was a scrounge for food after vacation dinner!
