The Day Baby Was Born App by Tommee Tippee

Since baby E is only 4 months old, I can still remember most of his birth. I replay it in my mind often! But I know that as time goes on, I will forget some of the littler things - and probably already have. The day went by in such a blur that I know I have forgotten some things - especially the emotions the come with giving birth. I wish that I remembered a few things about his birth - such as the time we went to the hospital and more about my experience there.

And even though I had a blog when I was pregnant, I was bad at keeping up with blogging the details of my pregnancy. I can't remember what week we found out I was pregnant or when we found out his sex or even what week I gave birth! I have been thinking about that often, since it was August when we found out I was pregnant. It would be really nice to recall the day of the doctor's visit - a day that began our new life. Such important things in you life at the time, so easily forgotten!!

I wish that Tommee Tippee's The Day Baby Was Born™ application had existed when I became pregnant.  It is a free web application that automatically gathers information about the day your child was born, creating a storybook that you can treasure and share. See a sample storybook created with The Day Baby Was Born here: http://tommeetippee.sierrabravo.net/pdf/tt_storybook_example2b.pdf  or watch a video here: http://www.thedaybabywasborn.com/?t=video

On of the things I like about the app is that you can add short sentences at key weeks of your pregnancy. So instead of a long rambling blog post,  I could write a blurb when we found out he was a boy or even when I first noticed a baby bump! And not only would my pregnancy posts be in one place, but pictures, his birth information and even current events on the date of E's birth would all be in the same place! I also love that it adds Facebook comments from when we annouced both the preganacy and his birth on Facebook. The other feature I  love is that you can write a little note to your baby.

I cannot wait to dive into this application and add what I can remember about my pregnancy and Baby E's birth. I am glad I did blog a bit so hopefully I can glean some more information from my posts. I need to take some time to really think about what I am going to write in his letter - I am not a total sap, but I don't want to make it too funny or reveal too many details! The Day Baby Was Born app from Tommee Tippee is a great way to have a lasting memory of your pregnancy and birth.
